Endocrinology is a highly specialized field of medicine that deals with the treatment of the endocrine glands (thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, ovaries, testis, hypothalamus, adrenal and pituitary). This branch of science ensures that the complex chemical compounds produced by the glands- ‘Hormones’ are balanced in our body. Hormones control the way we respond to our surroundings and provides direction to our body for energy & stimuli.
